Your Day The day begins with a warm welcome, tea, coffee and biscuits, followed by a tour of our studio. You’ll enjoy a demonstration of wheel-throwing techniques, including clay preparation, centering, and pulling forms. You’ll then get hands-on at the wheel, learning how to shape cylinders and bowls with support from your tutor. As the morning concludes, we’ll review all your work, and you’ll select one or two pieces to be glazed in your chosen finish from our house glazes. We’ll fire these for you, ready for collection or delivery (postage fees apply). With all tools, materials, refreshments, and expert guidance included, this half-day experience is the perfect opportunity to have a taster of wheel throwing skills. A perfect introduction to pottery for you or the creative person in your life.
